Connecting you with the Vallejo Community
Leadership Vallejo educates and trains future leaders. Selected participants meet once every month for nine months. Each session is a day-long program packed with information, education, and training. Participants undertake personal study. They work with other participants in small teams that focus on a community project of design.
Each future leader learns the history of Vallejo and receives comprehensive background on issues facing the Vallejo community. Participants learn critical information about this diverse community. They gain understanding of the hopes, challenges, and aspirations of residents. Each participant enhances skills in public speaking, setting priorities, and achieving consensus at public meetings.
